MoonLite — Refund Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026. This policy is written for our Merchant-of-Record (Paddle) billing setup and pairs with the Terms of Service.
Effective date: 11 July 2026 · Contact: support@lectorinteractive.com
1. Who processes your payment
All purchases on MoonLite are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd / Paddle.com Inc. ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for every order: your card statement shows Paddle, Paddle issues your invoice/receipt, collects any applicable VAT/sales tax, and processes refunds. Paddle's own buyer terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) apply to the checkout alongside this policy. Where this policy is more generous to you than a legal minimum, this policy applies.
2. What we sell
- VIP membership — an auto-renewing monthly subscription that unlocks VIP perks in MoonLite (VIP rooms, private lobbies, watch-party hosting, VIP name styling, and other perks as described on the pricing page).
- Supporter — a one-time purchase that permanently grants the "Supporter 💛" nameplate title.
Both are digital services/content delivered immediately to your MoonLite account. Neither is a donation.
3. VIP subscription — cancellation and refunds
- Cancel anytime. Cancelling stops future renewals; your VIP perks continue until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancel from the link in any Paddle receipt email, or by contacting us at support@lectorinteractive.com.
- 14-day money-back guarantee (first purchase). If you are unhappy with your first VIP purchase for any reason, tell us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full.
- Renewals. Forgot to cancel? Ask within 14 days of a renewal charge and — provided the renewal period's VIP perks have not been substantially used — we will refund that renewal.
- After a refund, VIP perks tied to the refunded period are removed.
4. Supporter (one-time) — refunds
If you request it within 14 days of purchase, we will refund a Supporter purchase in full. The Supporter title is removed from the account when a refund is issued.
5. Your statutory rights (EU/UK and elsewhere)
If you are a consumer in the EU/UK, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For digital services and digital content, performance begins immediately upon purchase with your acknowledgement; where you exercise a withdrawal right after performance has begun, any refund may be reduced proportionally to the extent required or permitted by law. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory right you have in your country — where local consumer law gives you more than this policy, local law wins.
6. How to request a refund
Any of:
- Email support@lectorinteractive.com from the email on your account (or include your receipt/order number), or
- Reply to / use the links in your Paddle receipt email (Paddle order lookup: https://paddle.net), or
- Open a support ticket in-app (Settings → Support).
Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days of approval, depending on your bank.
7. Abuse
We may decline refunds where we see abuse in bad faith (e.g. repeated purchase-refund cycles to farm perks, chargeback fraud, or refunds requested after a ban for serious Terms violations). This never limits your statutory rights.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the version at https://www.moonlite.gg/refunds applies to purchases made after it takes effect. Material changes will be announced in-app.
